|Matt Murphy (Producer)
Matt is currently producing the the new Off-Broadway play Sex Tips For Straight Women From a Gay Man, which is having its world premiere in New York City on January 22, 2014 at The 777 Theatre. Matt is also a producer of one of New York’s longest-running family shows, The Berenstain Bears LIVE! in Family Matters, the Musical, now in its 3rd smash year. Matt recently produced the Tony Award-Winning musical Memphis on Broadway, as well as the Broadway productions of Thurgood, starring Laurence Fishburne who was nominated for a Tony Award for his stellar performance, and the new play by Michael Jacobs entitled Impressionism, starring Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons. Matt’s producing debut in New York was the Off-Broadway hit Altar Boyz, which became one of the longest-running Off-Broadway musicals in history during its remarkable 5-year run at New World Stages. In addition to his work on Broadway and Off-Broadway, Matt also recently produced a successful touring production of an original musical for today’s texting, blogging, and Facebooking generation called Virtually Me!, which was profiled on Fox News and My9 News for its efforts to educate students about the increasingly challenging issue of cyber-bullying. Matt is the founder and president of Marquee Merchandise LLC, which creates and manages the sales of merchandise and concessions for several Broadway and Off-Broadway shows and venues here in New York and around the country. Matt’s company also founded and operates The Broadway Store, an online shopping center for all things Broadway.
|Scott Munson (Accounts Manager)
Scott is thrilled to be joining the Matt Murphy Productions team after recently graduating from Baruch College with his MBA in Accounting. He brings with him 13 years of accounting department experience and a love of all things theatre and all things New York. In his spare time, he sees as many shows as he can afford, sings with the Stonewall Chorale, and serves on the Finance Committee and Arts Committee at Judson Memorial Church.
|Matt Franzetti (Company Manager)
Matt completed his BA in Theatre and Business Administration at Muhlenberg College and his MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy at Goldsmiths, University of London. He has worked as a stage manager for “FAME” at the Tropicana Resort and Casino on this side of the pond, and in London has worked with the Ambassador Theatre Group, Minor Entertainment, Whippet Productions, and the Wellcome Trust. Matt is an avid supporter of the arts, and is happy to be back in New York.
|Joshua Jezioro (Operations Manager)
Josh is a graduate of Purchase College. He started with Marquee Merchandise as the online sales manager for BroadwayStore.com, and has since taken over as the operations manager. Prior to joining Matt Murphy Productions/Marquee Merchandise, he spent time as an intern at The Karpel Group, The Hartman Group, and Maximum Entertainment. A lover of theatre and film, Josh is thrilled to a part of the team at Marquee Merchandise.
|Samantha Steiger (Assistant Operations Manager)
Samantha became the Assistant Operations Manager of Marquee Merchandise/The Broadway Store after interning with the two companies for a full year. Prior to her work with these teams, Samantha was a Sales Manager at Broadway New York, Inc. She also serves as the Director of Management at Mount Carmel Theatre Company in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A native New Yorker, Samantha attended Pace University where she studied Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting.
